Slicked & Laid: The Origin Story is a speculative Pinterest-first campaign concept that responds to that gap directly, positioning Pinterest as the platform where e.l.f. rebuilds credibility with Black beauty consumers through a paid Creator Council, culturally credited content boards, and a search strategy that meets the community where they already are. Built around three pillars, Credit, Community, and Co-ownership, the campaign translates a brand trust challenge into a revenue-tied marketing opportunity, demonstrating B2B strategy, cultural fluency, and platform-native thinking developed as part of a Pinterest Integrated Marketing Manager application.
